ATO is a shoe selling company to several countries. To boost sales, the company management decided to create a mobile app (Android & iOS) targeting B2B and B2C customer groups from different countries. The store is pretty standard in terms of front-end functionality, but there are a few back-end features that required custom Ecommerce development.
Taking all the details into consideration the team drafted realistic milestone which defines the complete process of the project. The team was focused on building native app for both Android & iOS platform to deliver the perfectly working app where some of the features are product categorization, product search, user management and providing inventory visibility.
To avoid customer confusion and save the shopper one action we created the Web Services so that there will be synchronisation in both web and app. Many functionalities were added in the App to make the good experience for the users.
There were few challenges in terms of the following:
1. They need to know where their highest value purchasers came from so we worked on detail Analytics.
2. Mobile payment and shopping cart integration.
3. Deliver unified user experience.
4. Multiple Shipping Options.
The mobile apps were developed in native iOS and Android frameworks. We provided the dedicated Android & iOS team members who worked together to deliver the best solution to client. Project communication was done on regular basis using Skype, email and voice calls to proivde the status of the project which make the process smooth for the client and always updated about the milestone achieved, next milestone and complete progress of the work.
We also use our project management tool which further simplifies the process where the live updates and notifications were being sent to the client for each tasks.
The Apps have good number of downloads in the playstore thereby increasing the revenue for the client. Client appreciated our work that many users are using the apps flawlessly.
