Employers recognise the value in having a skilled workforce, but all too often, they treat training as something of an afterthought. Particularly when the finances are tight, skills development programmes are one of the first things to be sacrificed.
However, failing to spend on employee training is a major false economy. Employers need to realise they are investing in the future of their organisation – with training vital for long-term competitiveness.
What is Training?
In its simplest form, employee training can best be understood as an organised activity:
- The goal is to convey information and/or instructions that improve knowledge of a topic.
- The outcome provides the learner with a mandatory level of understanding that can be demonstrated.
ALEA took the 7 day training session where the employees got the opportunity to learn about various things which includes Time Management, Responsibilities, Designing, Testing, Development on different platforms & Frameworks, Comparison between various frameworks, Debugging of the code & the Amazon web services. There were practical sessions where the employees learned the things practically.
Each day there was question & answers before the start of the session to remind them where the last session ended which helps them to keep the spirit up.
This definitely helps ALEA in grooming the knowledge of the employees which leads to the growth of both the employees & the organisation.
