About the client

Mazda is one of the world’s most recognized automotive manufacturers, operating an extensive dealer network across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. Product launches, dealer training sessions, and global communications play a critical role in keeping dealerships aligned with the brand’s vision and new vehicle initiatives.

Project Overview

Mazda needed a way to run global live events that could support dealers and audiences across different regions without relying on traditional event infrastructure or region-specific setups.

Aleait built a serverless live streaming platform using AWS infrastructure that was adapted for Mazda’s event structure. The system supports synchronized global streaming, real-time audience interaction, and controlled access for dealer-only events.

Dealers across Japan, the UK, the US, and Australia can now join the same live event, watch in sync, and interact with presenters in real time — without any separate regional setup or manual scaling.

Deliver secure, large-scale live events with synchronized streaming, real-time audience interaction, and serverless infrastructure built for global audiences.

What We Built (Key Capabilities)

Challenges & Solutions

Dealers across multiple regions needed to watch the same event at the same time without delays or drift in playback.

We built a centralized synchronization system using DynamoDB that keeps playback state consistent across all users, maintaining low latency regardless of location.

1

Live product launches cannot afford failure

Challenge :

Mazda’s product reveals are one-time events where downtime or buffering is not acceptable.

Solution :

We used a serverless architecture built on AWS Lambda and multi-AZ services, ensuring there is no single point of failure during live broadcasts.

2

Events needed controlled, dealer-only access

Challenge :

Public access was not an option — each event had to be restricted to invited dealer networks.

Solution :

We implemented invite-based session management with authentication and role-based access control for structured event participation.

3

IT teams could not manage infrastructure during events

Challenge :

Mazda’s internal teams needed a system that would not require monitoring or manual intervention during live launches.

Solution :

The serverless setup ensured the platform scales automatically and runs without operational management during events.

Outcomes & Impact

These outcomes show what changed when Mazda moved from traditional event setups to a serverless live streaming platform.

01

Global synchronized launch experience

Dealers across multiple regions now join a single live stream with perfectly aligned playback.

02

Zero infrastructure failures during events

Live product launches run without downtime, buffering, or scaling issues.

03

Real-time two-way interaction

Presenters and dealer audiences can interact live through chat, voice, and Q&A sessions.

How Aleait made it happen

A structured build approach focused on scalability, reliability, and controlled global distribution.

01

Global Distribution Design

AWS Lambda and distributed services were configured to automatically handle multi-region traffic without separate infrastructure per geography.

02

Controlled Access System

Invite-only sessions ensured that only verified dealers could access live product launches and event streams.

03

Proven Architecture Approach

The system was built on a previously validated serverless foundation, ensuring stability for high-traffic live events from day one.

04

Fast Deployment Cycle

The platform was adapted and deployed within a short delivery cycle while maintaining reliability for live production use.

The technology behind the platform

We selected tools that ensure smooth processing of large volumes of guest feedback across multiple channels and languages.
